1:100 scale WW2 die-cast planes
An end of range collection of six UK & US WW2 planes
made by Armour, later taken over by Franklin Mint and
now out of production. There is only one of each for sale.
The models have die-cast fuselage and wings and with all
other parts of plastic.
Each model has a stand as shown left with a model from
my own collection. For games the planes can be mounted on
an FSP flying stand by using the 2mm screw hole left after
removing the plane from the display base.
The plane is a Royal Air Force desert Spitfire model art. 5311
a new model is shown below.
The base, however, is from another model.
Each Armour model is packed in a plastic display box.

New Flying Stand currently unavailable Only available with the purchase of a die-cast plane, one per plane. For gaming purposes the models may be mounted on a Flying Stand code FSP. The 2mm dia. brass tube fits into a hole in the underside of the D-Day Spitfire shown left. The hole in the Armour models may need enlarging a small amount to suit the tube or a drawing pin may be fixed to the model as shown on the flying stand page. |
